I Have Questions?

Unless you are totally unplugged from the internet,(in which case you would not be reading this), you have heard of the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk. Perhaps most above 40 years of age had not heard of him, but, their children, or grandchildren, even though maybe not fans of the message of Charlie, enjoyed watching his God given gift of debate, (and there are a multitude of videos to watch on youtube). According to dictionary.com, the word, debate, which means “a discussion, as of a public question in an assembly, involving opposing viewpoints”. A discussion, an expression of ideas, civil communication, even though opposing. Unfortunately, something that was common in America's history is, in these last days, has been lost.

Young people today are juggling many difference emotions. Some who watched the debates don't understand why some of their friends, political leaders, musicians and actors alike are expressing negative views about Charlie—even celebrating his death with great merriment.

Where do they look for answers? They need to be looking in the Word of God.

Young people today are juggling many difference emotions. Some who watched the debates don't understand why some of their friends, political leaders, musicians and actors alike are expressing negative views about Charlie—even celebrating his death with great merriment.

Other young people are angry. They see the world being left to them in utter chaos—wars, fighting, mass shootings almost weekly, talk of revolt (either for or against something). They only want to live the way they want and be left alone.

Yet others can not understand how this assassination happened. Charlie Kirk was an ambassador of Christ. Much of his message was to start going to church, start reading your Bible everyday, get married, have children—so how could God allow this?

Where do they look for answers? They need to be looking in the Word of God. The Bible is not just an old, outdated paper weigh that sits on someones desk. Open it's cover, read it, looking for direction. Discover the how, the when for your life—discover Jesus. From generation to generation people have been asking the same questions, and all the answers are within the pages of Scripture. Here a little, there a little, like a great mystery ripe to be revealed. If you have tried to read and can not understand, ask God. It is written, Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness...have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer...the Lord will hear when I call unto him-Ps 4:1, 3. Check out this link if you would like our suggestions about reading the bible.

Is It Easy to Follow Jesus?

If you thought that it was easy to follow Jesus, think again. Throughout the world Christians are being hunted, sought out and persecuted—their only crime being their confession of Jesus Christ—being followers of Him who redeemed them from their sins.
